High solids primer based on an epoxy resin hardened with polyamide and a high percentage zinc phosphate pigmentation. It provides an excellent anti-rust protection. Fast drying and recoatability.
Suitable for high resistance processes in 2K systems. Painting of lorry tank coating, cement mixers, trailers, metallic structures, etc.
Excellent adhesion on steel, aluminium and galvanized.

F-296/2 meets the requirements of category C3 and C4 HIGH s/UNE ISO 12944-2 certified by an external laboratory ( Steel Sa 2½ and finished with ALFA-PUR 3790 and URKI-VOC respectively).

Air-less Spray-gun: Max. 3% vol. of URKISOL 394, in two crossed coats. When applied in high temperatures we recommend to use URKISOL 395 or URKISOL 397.

SURFACE PREPARATION

Deoxidising and manual degreasing of the surfaces: previous sand-blasting Sa 2,5 is recommended.
In order to apply the product correctly the temperature should exceed 10°C and the relative humidity should be below 75%.
Oven drying is allowed at 80-100°C for 15-30 min.
It can be repainted with URKI-POX, ALFA-PUR 3748, ALFA-PUR 3790, URKI-NATO, BESA-GLASS, URKI-GLASS. URKI-VOC on LOW VOC systems.

STORAGE

Keep under cover in a cool and well-ventilated place avoiding direct sunlight. Temperatures between 5 and 30°C recommended.
Can life: 2 years from manufacturing in date its original unopened container. Consult our technical department once date has expired.
