It is convenient to let the diluted mixture stabilise for 15 minutes, before starting the application.

To make it an anti-graffiti paint, replace the indicated thinner with anti-graffiti additive 51. Chek the technical data sheet of the additive.

When a quicker drying time is needed for masking, E-750 accelerator (see TDS) or E-203 hardener can be used on small surfaces.

In both cases the potlife will be shortened.

It can be recoated 3 hours after drying in booth. If the product is used as anti-graffiti, it needs to be sanded and degreased.

The surfaces must be previously primed with F-294/2 or F- 296/2 epoxy primers. See techni-cal data sheet for detailed information on surface preparation for each type of support:

On steel: Degreasing. In heavy-duty industrial work, shot blasting to SA 2 ½ is required.
On galvanised steel: Degreasing. If it is old, brush and degrease.
On aluminium: Degrease or provide chemical treatment.

In car bodywork or car refinishing processes, it is recommended to be applied on 2K fillers from BESA range, once sanded, to obtain the maximum performance in terms of gloss and extensibility.

The use of appropriate personal protective equipment is recommended during application, to prevent the irritation of the respiratory tract, skin and eyes. For professional use only.

Keep in a tightly covered container, in a dry and ventilated place, avoiding direct exposure to sunlight. Temperature above 5°C is recommended, between 15 and 30°C optimal.

The VOC content of URKIVOC is a maximum of 420 g/l in compliance with European regulation 2004/42/EC IIB(D) (420) <420 g/l.
