DESCRIPTION
UHS clearcoat developed for partial, SPOT REPAIR. It stands out for its hardening speed, making possible to have the vehicle operational 40’ after the application of the clearcoat without need of heating the booth. This allows savings from energy in the painting cycle, as well as an increase in productivity.
A 10 min drying process can be done in the booth at 60°C or at 40°C for 20’. By IR-drying, 5 min.
URKIFLY can be polished approximately 1 hour after drying.
Excellent gloss finish, extensibility, with resistance to UV rays, abrasion and chemical agents are obtained.
For high temperatures or painting larger surfaces, it is recommended to use E-250 slow hardener.
HARDENERS
URKI-FLY offers great versatility thanks to its range of hardeners. It also allows the use of slow hardener for painting larger surfaces or in higher temperature periods.

Best results are achieved with 1.2mm fluid peak. Apply two crossed-coats with an interval of 5 to 10 min. to allow flash-off.
It can be used between 5°C and 35°C. The product has been tested in extreme humidity and heat conditions.
After applying the URKIFLY clearcoat, it is recommended to use URKIBLEND spray in areas where it may have been oversprayed, in order to achieve full integration of the applied clearcoat with the previous’ film.
The application must be done in the 30 min. lapse after mixing of both components. Both clearcoat and hardener’s cans must be closed after each use.
SURFACE PREPARATION
Sprayed directly over the basecoat (both solvent and water-based) after at least 30 min. from its application.
When using water-based undercoats it is very important to ensure that the water has completely evaporated before applying the clearcoat.
The use of BESA Tack Cloths is recommended before applying it.

STORAGE
Keep in a tightly covered container, in a dry and ventilated place, avoiding direct exposure to sunlight. Temperature above 5°C is recommended, between 15 and 30°C optimal.
VOC
The VOC content of URKIFLY is a maximum of 420 g/l, , in compliance with European standard 2004/42/CE IIB(D) (420) <420 g/l.
